    Overview

As seasons change, the availability and levels of essential nutrients for animals like cow and deer fluctuate; in most cases, so does the animal’s requirement levels for these nutrients. In a year’s life cycle, climate and other environmental factors can challenge animals to meet these desired nutritional levels, especially in the months of February and August. Whether wildlife is your hobby or profession, feeding supplements from AG Daniel Company can improve body development. The results are better genetic potential and overall health.

    Quality Nutritional Management

Unlike grazing cattle, deer are selective browsers that discriminate in the choice of those plants and plant parts which meet their specific nutritional requirements. As seasons change, the availability and levels of essential nutrients fluctuate in the natural browse, and so do the deer’s requirement levels for these nutrients. In a year’s life cycle, climate and other environmental factors can challenge deer to meet these desired nutritional levels, especially I the months of February and August. Whether wildlife is your hobby or profession, feeding supplements can improve both antler and body development. The results are better genetic potential and overall health.

    Testimonials

"We have a commercial cow-calf herd and have never seen cows and calves so responsive to a 'new feed source'. We have been feeding CPM Super-P this winter and have been very pleased with the results.  CPM Super-P is easy to feed, you can toss out the 30 lb. blocks or place the larger bales out like a roll of hay or you can break up the bales and feed in troughs without much hassle and there is no waste anyway you feed it.  It is comparable in price to soy hull pellets and hay that we are feeding, but has a lot higher nutritive value.  The sales rep has been very responsive to taking care of our questions, comments, and needs.  We think A.G. Daniel Company has come up with a excellent alternative feed source because of the unpredictable weather and high cost of fertilizer that has effected our hay production the last few years.  Thank You."

"I am a commercial Beef Cow producer. I work hard to grow good replacement heifers and steers that will work well in the feed lots.  I use NO growth hormones or growth stimulants on my cattle at any time.  I use a very efficient health program, giving the IBR and Lepto and Blackleg, etc. vaccines at 4 to 5 months old and a booster at weaning time of 8 months old.  All bulls, mama cows and replacement heifers are wormed as well as use an external parasite control in early spring.  My cattle operations are based on a cost efficient program so I can make as much as possible for my hard work and dedication to the Agriculture Industry.  I grow and bale my winter hay, storing it in barns on the farms.

Due to weather conditions in the summer of 2009, I came up short on hay to carry my 160 plus herd of cattle through the winter.  I creep feed my calves a 13% beef ration, fed free choice from mobile feeders in the winter.  This keeps the calf growing and gaining weight during the harshness of winter weather.  But the mama cow needs some extra protein and feed as well.  I was reading my GA (Georgia) Cattleman's magazine and saw an ad 'Bale-On Bailing' by the A.G. daniel Company.  I called the sale(s) rep for more information on the CPM MiniBale High Nutrition Feed, a 14% crude protein complete free range ration for mature cattle, bulls, lactating cows and replacement heifers. Purchasing this feed for my hay shortage was a very wise decision for my operation. I feed the minibales in poly-bunk feeders.  The mature cattle and the nursing calves love this feed.  I have less that 2% waste by feeding in the bunk feeders.  The cattle eat all you give them and beg for more.  The savings in price per pound, wated feed and convenience, far outweighs the cost of bag feed and the dangers of the cattle pushing you around while trying to feed them.

The AG Daniel Company is now making a 500 lb block of CPM Feed which comes on a pallet.  This is so easy to feed.  Cut the bands, set a round bale hay feeder around it and the cattle will do the rest.  This is a complete and satisfying feed.  It has all the minerals, vitamins and proein supplements cows need to keep a 5-6 body score while nursing a young calf.  In my operation I see all my cattle everyday (2-3 times a day during the calving period) so I feed CPM High Nutrition Blocks one day and the next day feed hay.  Your cows will come to you and beg for these high nutrtion blocks.  A set of pallet folks on the front end loader of a 65+ horsepower tractor will handle the pallets of CPM feed very efficiently.  THis is a very good all-a-round feed and more cost effective that bulk commercial feed on today's market."

"It's (Go Goat) a good feed. I like it 100%.  My goats do real good on it and I'll tell anybody that."

                                                                                                                                   - Ernest Jones, Eastman, GA-

"We have been using Go Goat-M as a maintenance feed for about 6-8 months.  Our satisfaction with it is above an 'A'.  The general appearance of our goats is improving weekly.  It has provided a much easier alternative to large rolls of hay.  The goats would eventually scatter much of the hay, and climbing on it would contaminate it with droppings.  The block can be easily moved under a shelter to prevent rain damagge.  Eventually, much of the hay in large rolls was wasted.

The other alternative would have been small bales of hay.  When comparing the cost of hay baled this way and the Go Goat blocks we found the blocks far more economical.  Not only is there a minimal loss to waste but the blocks provided a far more balanced nutritional program.  Buying hay in smaller quantities (due to a lack of storage facilities) forced us to pay higher prices and often have to settle for an inferior quality (often having to settle for old hay).

The blocks have proven to be very effective, especially when kidding.  By using the blocks we provide a quality maintenance feed with a minimum of loss to waste.  We simply place a block in the pen with the mother and kids.  It is amazing to see how quickly the kids start eating it.  We recommend the use to anyone who deals with goats."
